Ok now we want GGG to jump from 160 to 175 to get respect. Something Ward won't even do. F'n racist

Funny how these guys where calling quillin out saying he is hiding behind the HBO - Showtime feud everytime GGG's name would be brought up. Now all we hear from GGG's camp is crickets and bunny farts

Sure, I mean Lara sounds like he wants to make a statement more so than collect a "fat check" and I've heard GGG is making good money fighting over there so the money shouldn't be an issue. If there is an issue with being on HBO or Showtime, why not have it on an independent PPV in MC?

I thought that the idea was that no credible competition was willing to fight GGG? It sucks that a SMW is the one calling him out but at least he is willing to take the challenge and he is undoubtedly more skilled than the last bunch that have stepped in the ring with GGG and certainly more of a challenge than Kirkland will prove to be. If one of the next two opponents is going to be another guy coming up from 154, why can't it be Lara instead of Kirk?

You would think that it would be an easy fight to make since both fighters are based out of German Promoters, but it seems that Sturm has no interest in the fight.

It's easy to call out a fighter when you know there are going to be huge hurdles to cross just to get the fight.

Why isn't Lara, if he's serious about moving to middleweight calling out Quillin? That is a fight that can be made.

Golovkin has more crossover appeal than Robert Guerrero.

And honestly a ****** risk for Floyd to take.
Brave risk, not ******. Cotto didn't need to risk v Trout, but he did it because he's got cojones.

But in a way Lara's doing exactly the same as Quillin - he's saying he'll fight GGG although he essentially knows the fight ain't gonna be made.

If Lara really wants this fight, he needs to keep pushing, he also needs to make sure that Haymon / GBP are OK with it, else there's no point in even asking for it unless he's willing to jump ship.

Oh, and he also almost certainly would need to wait til next year to fight in MC or elsewhere in Europe, even if K2 and GGG did turn out to be interested. GGG ain't gonna drop one of his 3 HBO dates to fight off US TV.

FWIW though I'd quite like this fight, but it's gonna take a bit more effort from Lara than just sending a tweet.

Part of the legend of GGG is that he made Kovalev quit in a sparring session. If he can make him quit with headgear and big gloves. Sounds like Kovalev would be risking certain death fighting GGG with no head gear and 10oz gloves.

BTW, if Floyd can fight a middlewight. Why can't GGG fight a light heavy?

Oh yeah, how do you manage to fit race into each and every GGG post that doesn't deep throat him like you constantly do?

Hey, you may be right but imo, Quillin's stock may have actually gone down after his fight with Rosado. He didn't look all that good and the cut was a fortuitous incident that everyone on Quillin's team and the network banked on and took advantage of to get that fight over and done with.

You folks still fail to acknowledge that Floyd is a welterweight and GGG is a middleweight. And regardless of what contracted weight they fight at. Its a welterweight fighting a middleweight. A middleweight that brings nothing to the table financially nor legacy wise. We still don't even know if GGG can fight.
