I'm having a hard time understanding how this guy gets a title shot so quickly after becoming a pro. Verdejo is 10-0 and no title shot. I know Loma beat Verdejo in the Olympics.

Its prizefighting bro. Lomachenko already brings in money with a big reputation and fan base. Bob Arum also had to promise Lomachenko a quick title shot to get his signature, which he obviously felt would be worth it in the long run (and it probably will be).

          WAR SALIDO!
Salido said it himself on nacion ESPN "I think is disrespecful to me to give tis guy a shot a the title with only his second fight of his career, but oh well, I'll go in there and take care of bussiness" it sounded to me that Salido was a little shook, to have to loose to an amateur boxer. But what do I know? some went too far thinking he was afraid to lose to a gay guy, and we all saw what happened.
