It was in Lomachenko's contract that he would get a title shot within his first two fights. Salido probably pretty much didn't want to go through legal battles with Top Rank so he just accepted being bullied into the fight.

its probably cuz Salido was offered a hefty sum and we all know hes a true champion who gets on with anyone anywhere. He'd even defend his title in a back alley of Ciudad Obregon if someone called em out there.
