Yes. Shutting up is the proper move. It's called "class."

So acording to your assessment Garcia is wrong in saying Roach did not deserved the award? yes Pacquiao made Rios look like Brandon punching bag bag Rios, but there is nothing Robert or any other trainer could do to change the outcome of the fight....not even Nacho, Roger & Floyd Sr. or even Roach himself could do anything to change the outcome....Rios is a crude brawler nothing more and taylor made for Pacman, pacman beats Rios even without preparing himself for the fight.

Garcia (althoug sour g****s) spoke the truth, Cotto beating Edwin Bum Rodriguez, and Pacman doing target practicing with a Human punching bag do not desrved any award, if nothing else there is Pedro Diaz, with Rigondeaux.

Pushover? Crying about losing an award means you're not a pushover?

Really??? According to this logic, Roger Mayweather should have been the Trainer of the Year about 10 times.

You don't seemto understand my point. If Robert had said "I feel the award should've gone to someone who did more than freddie. It's political so he won" I could've been fine with that, instead what we get is "I didn't win", a bunch of more "me","me","me" and then the mention of everyone else who trains. So is this really about other people deserving it or Garcia being butt hurt it wasn't him. I'm pretty sure if any of those names he mentioned would've won the award he would've been just as pissed. The acknowledgement of other trainers was solely so it wouldn't be a me,me,me fest. I agree with you on the Julio Diaz thing hence the last line of my OP "One can make the argument for guys who didn't lose to Roach in 2013".

I thought that Roberto Garcia was the trainer of the year for 2013 by a comfortable margin. Don't really know why the BWAA or that website where they have their own rankings are put on a pedestal.

                      I feel ya, Garcia.

My vote would've went to you for TOTY. I don't see how Fred's accolades are outshining yours.
