Just talk right now, wouldn't be smart if he did.
Then again.... Mayweather undercard doesn't really have a lot of available fighters for then. Mares is one of the only names they'd probably be able to grab. LSC if they put him in there with a softy and gets out of his fight unscathed

He kind of is a midget... looked tiny against Gonzo... Miura even bigger. Should've stayed in 122

It's such a bad risk reward fight, it's like they'd be cashing him out. Win or lose Mares gets punished by the bigger guy, a bruiser nobody knows.

Jack Degale would be cool though maybe not a good action fight. I think the Pac Bradley undercard has decent action potential. It's more evenly matched than the Canelo Angulo undercard, where the only competitive fight will probably be really boring.

Degale makes sense for the British crowd if Khan's on it... then again....to me it seems like Mayweather just trying to push his guy, like with Rosado vs Love.

still pissed about the johnny rematch. thinking about it now, can't blame him for not wanting to jump right back in there with him again. mares loss to me, was worse than the broner loss.... i mean mares was in the damn p4p and now he seems like an afterthought. you never hear about him anymore here.

Both of them were really being brought up to be P4P stars.... Mares was in the top 5, and was really being brought up to be the next big thing.
He still has a shot... but he shouldn't be moving up.
