Why doesn't Hunter have Ward drop to 160 and Angulo move up to 160 and find out?

GGG is not an exception. No, he didn't proclaim himself to be the bes ever or the greatest. But he is allowing his team and his network to say he will fight anyone from 154-168. Ok, prove it.
I think he said that he would fight at 168 at some point as in not right now. If you Ward-stans follow the same standard for Ward as you do for GGG, you should bust Ward's nuets for not going after Wladimir Klitschko. Ward said that he'd move to HW.

      Just sayin'.

It'll die down, just like when Ward said he'd move up after he won the tourney

On Saturday night in Carson, California, WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward (24-0, 13 KOs) dominated Arthur Abraham (32-3, 26 KOs) to advance to the fin

Virgil Hunter is correct in citing that GGG has faced only gatekeeper level opposition but given the fact that he's beaten them all handily and the only meaningful fight left for GGG is against Martinez it's dishonest of Hunter to act as though GGG avoids fighting more dangerous or capable opposition. Aside from Martinez who is there that might threaten GGG?

Network and promotional issues are standing in the way of GGG vs Lara, Quillin, etc so to assert and criticize GGG for not fighting those guys is also dishonest. Furthermore Hunter loves to downplay KO's and punching power when it comes to Andre Ward. I don't believe for a second Ward would have KO'd all the guys GGG has because not only does Ward lack power but he's got a safety first mentality. Hunter is simply downplaying GGG's power to make Ward look the better fighter and as if very few prominent fighters in history have KO'd top opposition. LOL

Well, move on up to fight the guys who are willing to fight him. What fans of GGG don't notice is that he calls these fighters out, then he doesn't follow up on it when they call his bluff. This guys isn't interested in making fights with the best. He has the opportunity to face Andre Ward, whose an HBO fighter with ease. His teams has created the excuse that Ward isn't treating GGG like a star. WTF does that mean?
And Andre Ward said he wants to finish his career at HW. He has no one to fight at 168. Why isn't he pushed to move up in weight instead of calling smaller guys?

Ward is not calling smaller guys, he wants to fight Chavez and Froch.

The Golovkin talk is all coming from flomos online who would rather he moved up than be talked about as a potential Mayweather opponent.

Fine, hold ward to that. So long as you treat both the same there is no issue. Just don't decide arbitrarily that we only hold certain fighters to their words.

Oh I dont hold Ward to that. For now. Just as I didn't do it when he said he'd move to 175 after the s6 and that I dont blame GGG for not moving up now either. I prefer things the Hagler way. Stay in your division and dominate it for years instead of all that moving around and catchweight sjit.

My point was to those Ward stans wanting GGG to move up, while not kepiens their man love to the same standard.

Obviously, the reaction by many posters is in part because:

1.GGG's team refused Lara so quickly citing the politics, yet he openly discussed the floyd fight which would be hampered by the same politics.

                    2. a reaction to his most vociferous fans who have annointed him the best without him proving it.

3.holding him accountable for the "i'll beat everyone......." comment.

SO long as you apply your standard equally I don't think anyone will care.

Nothing but the truth, except the other middle-weight champions don't seem to willing to fight.
