Yeah. There's a lot more money fighting Sturm or Martinez than Ward who not only wants the lions share of the purse but also hometown advantage.

If Ward just wanted the big money, he could go to Europe, but he doesn't want to but i understand why he doesn't. Oh I understand.

Nope, Golovkin being a B leveled fighter who fights C leveled and lower stiffs.

Just make a Ward-Golovkin or Dirrell-Golovkin and u'll be watching a bout between A leveled boxer and B leveled fighter.

I agree totally! I'm hoping for two reasons: 1) If GGG takes the fight, then I know his promotions can do biz with GBP. 2) If GGG wins, then maybe he and Floyd can fight @ 154 this fall/winter. 3) If Lara wins the fight, that should be enough to quiet the haters, and he should get a shot at Floyd (which he should get now).

Oh I'm sorry. I thought you were referring to someone who Ward hadn't made to look like a steaming pile of **** in the ring. Yeah, Ward may want big money but he's not going to bend over for it. And why even bring up Kessler? Respectfully, no one cares about a rematch with Kessler right now.

Anyway, back to the topic. I must applaud GGG's team. They are rightfully building up their fighter and earning easy paydays in the process. And they're hoping to catch a washed up Martinez so that they can lay claim to having done something. They know that a fight with Ward equals the end of the ride so they're playing their cards wisely: Milk it for now, build up the Ward fight, get paid off that and ride into the sunset.
