GGG is being pushed to 168 because HE'S the one that said he'd fight anyone from 160-175. Then he states that no one at 160 wants to fight him. Well, move on up to fight the guys who are willing to fight him. What fans of GGG don't notice is that he calls these fighters out, then he doesn't follow up on it when they call his bluff. This guys isn't interested in making fights with the best. He has the opportunity to face Andre Ward, whose an HBO fighter with ease. His teams has created the excuse that Ward isn't treating GGG like a star. WTF does that mean?
Historically on NSB posters attribute their calling for fights based on what fighters say. Certain fighters are very loud, braggadocious, and basically just talk a lot of isht. Those fighters are asked to back up their words by proving it in the ring.
GGG is not an exception. No, he didn't proclaim himself to be the bes ever or the greatest. But he is allowing his team and his network to say he will fight anyone from 154-168. Ok, prove it.Comment

Gennady became visible only 2 years ago. His time will come and the biggest fights will come. He needs to confirm if he is the best at 160 by fighting Murrey, Geale, Sturm, Quillin, Martinez.. These fights take time.
How about if he fought only 3 times in these 2 years instead of fighting 6-7 times. Nothing wrong with staying active while the bigger fight gets along.
Ward (or any fight at 168) doesn't make sense atm.Comment

I've heard from a reputably reliable anonymous source that GGG soiled himself when someone told him that Lara had called him out. This ducking chump needs to hang 'em up before he gets embarrassed!
S#it! What did Triple Duck do to deserve a shot at Lara anyways?Last edited by Citizen Koba; 02-11-2014, 01:10 PM.Comment

id rather see this then ggg sergio to be honest but both matches are great style match ups its just ggg ward would be a fight of 2 fighters in their prime sergio while still a great boxer when healthy is not in his prime imo. then again i just want to see ggg in with the best both are that but his team is treating him like hes a 25 year old prospect fighting the worst fight possible while still getting support from the fans i think ward is more avoided then ggg for whatever the reason high risk low reward i guessComment
