I think it's more to do with the logistics of the venue than anything else, though of course, it does play to GGGs strengths also.

Obviously it does have to be above specified minimums for it to be a sanctioned bout however - I think it's 16' minimum, about 24' max.

Hmm...Watching it again and guesstimating based on the corner poles (usually 5') I'd say it was about a 20' ring, not as big as those favoured by the more mobile fighters, but not really small either.

I like B-Hop, Floyd, Bradley, Manny, Rigo, Martinez, and even Adonis... I label Ward as a highly gifted and intelligent fighter (even I don't like him)...
