Look at an angry GGG cutting off the ring and blocking Lara's jab. Magnificent.
Lol I remember thinking during the ishidaht fight that the ring was small as hell

How you think he got the "He knows how to cut off the ring" hype? Pressure/come forward fighter+small ass ring.

He only had one prior fight in Monaco, against Ishida and he wasn't running anywhere.

You only have to look at Dirrell trying to play tag with him in the amateurs to see how he's able to cut off the ring.

I won't say "because lara is a middle weight" IF nobody bi+ches about it after he wins
and IF like the other ggg opponents Lara goes up to 160
In my opinion if you call out a fighter and you move to his weight class to his backyard not the other way

The reason why that cannot happen is because GGG is under contract through K2, his promoter, and HBO sports. And HBO sports grabbed the only slot available at the Theatre at Madison Square Garden. That date is April 26th. And HBO wants GGG for that date.

Considering GGG's good relations with HBO, the network he always wanted to appear on prior to fighting in the states, I doubt he would do that to them. That would be bad for business.

Indeed, Gennady should remain at his current weight. Lara should come up in weight if he wants to fight him. None of this is neither here nor there because Lee makes more sense. May not be the most exciting. Lee has more in common with fighters GGG may hope to face. And he has been around. 31-2

Lara has 19 wins...Gennady has more KO's than he has wins.
