This right here is a legacy fight for Martinez. He beats Golovkin, it's the perfect note to end his career on. Of course, as that point, he'd be free to head over to Showtime and destroy Quillin or Alvarez.

He's not KO'ing Cotto and I doubt he beats him. And he also won't be fighting GGG.

I'm very curious to see what kind of form Martinez will be in when he fights Cotto.

I personally do not think a 39 year old Martinez stands a chance against ggg at this point. He has been slowing down the past couple years. His body is breaking here and there. Simply put, he gets hit a lot more.

When Golovkin beats him, it will be bittersweet and somewhat tainted to me, because a 2010 or 2011 Martinez could have been able to beat Golovkin.

He will do great for a few rounds, and paint Golovkin up, but he will start to slow and start getting clipped. Then we will all know it will just be a matter of time.

Martinez looked fine not that long ago against Chavez. His issue against Murray was unhealed injuries more than age.

I'm not sure where Martinez is physically but if he beats Cotto and GGG, that would be a huge feat beating both of them.
