Sergio will get past Cotto but I don't think he can handle GGG right now. Guy cuts off the ring as well as anybody and has devastating power that I don't think Martinez can handle right now.

      Biggest fight at MW.

Kind of reminds me of Hatton-Tszyu. The changing of the guard through a brutal fight.

Sergio will not go gently into that good night.

I mean, Cotto is really one of my favorite boxers but Sergio is one of these guys that is really quiet and humble for the most part, I guess because he knows what he is capable of and doesn't need to brag.

Cotto has really snubbed him though by acting like a bigshot and that's fine and good but you can already tell by the way Sergio is talking, that he is gonna walk right through Cotto. Not saying that Cotto is a chump but Sergio is going to come into this fight with the intention of throwing heat and Cotto's face can't take shots like that and he won't have the reach nor the speed advantage.

Cotto has some grudge against him and I figure he thinks Sergio is shot but no way the guy beats up on a cruiserweight like he did and then just falls off...those injuries are a big problem and for Cotto's sake, he had better hope that Sergio won't be recovered by the time they fight. If Sergio is like at 80-85% of what he was in the Chavez fight, Cotto is going to get hurt, I can't see any other outcome.

Great news. Just don't get one of those "injuries" that take you out for a year.

Nah, he said he was planning on fighting GGG around the Murray fight. That's what I like about Sergio, the dude is old school, he is real, he isn;t afraid of any man and when he says he will do something, you better believe he will do it. He said he wanted GGG by the end of 2014 and he will make it happen. Many want to believe he is scared but the guy is already fighting guys much bigger than he is and holding his own.

The last time Martinez was as angry at an opponent as he is at Cotto, he delivered a hellacious beating and landed over 300 punches while throwing over 900. Cotto fights anything like that version of Martinez, he's in for the beating of his life.

Actually I think most people want to see the fight. Murray dropped Martinez twice, Golovkin clips him at some point and probably hurts him.

Martinez beats Cotto though. I think Miguel bit off more than he can chew.

I've always been a Martinez fan but douchebag Dibella has certainly hurt his image to a degree. I wish all of these loudmouthed promoters would take a step back and realize their words usually do more to harm than to cast their fighters in a good light.

Why is he that angry at Cotto?
