Floyd's September fight is going to have be vs a viable opponent

Floyd is taking a really long time to pick an opponent for May so I take this as the majority of fans are not happy with his pick. His September opponent is going to have to versus a live opponent where people may think he has a chance to lose. Everyone knows Floyd is not losing to Khan and Maidana. The public is not going to except a lesser opponent in September.

If Floyd had his way the Khan fight would be have signed and done deal weeks ago.

I agree. Its pretty sad Khan was Floyd's number 1 pick for all these months. Maidana is only an option because so many are displeased with him fighting Amir Khan.

ok. but since he hasn't announced who he is fighting yet, how do you reach the conclusion regarding the Sept fight?

don't you have to see who he fights in May and what happens in that fight before you have enough info?

If the choices are to fight both Khan and Maidana this year he has to fight Khan in May because Khan can't fight in September due to his fasting.
I think they see the negative reaction to Khan getting the fight so they are torn. If they fight Maidana now who is there in September?
Danny Garcia doesn't want the fight right now and probably won't move up to 147 until the end of the year. Devon Alexander on Mexican Independance day? Nope. I think its a real possibility that Floyd only fights one time this year. The options are very limited.
