Does Khan's win over Maidana really even count?

People were accusing Khan of ducking Maidana for a long time. Then he chose to fight him as a voluntary! Pretty much unheard of.

Other than the 10th round, he also made it look relatively easy.

Poor old Amir does get a lot of stick in NSB. Sure, his chin is weak and his ring IQ is not there, but he has plusses, too.

Anyone notice how his chin gets BETTER the more he gets hit btw? He was on spaghetti legs from a glancing blow from Maidana, but then got hit flush and didn't even go down... weird. And he seemed to be getting back together against Garcia, too, the last KD the least of em. Strange.

That fight was really close imo and the 10th round should've been a 10-8. If They fought now, I don't think Khan lasts the distance. He seems to have regressed while Maidana has improved. Floyd will knock him out for sure. If Garcia was able to time Khan, I have to believe the best counter puncher in the sport will.

In regard to earning a title shot at Mayweather it means nothing. That should be based on a fighter's last few fights and how good they are today. Only extreme Khan fans use his win over Maidana as a reason he should get the Mayweather fight. They are desperate to prove he is worthy. The facts say he should not get the Mayweather fight at this time so they try to bring the Maidana win of years ago into the argument.

It was like 4 years ago(nearly a half decade) to a NOT trained by Robert Garcia version of Maidana, who even still managed to knock Khan out in the tenth round(according to my card he did anyway if it wasn't for NIKE CORTEZ the bald ****).

I don't even want to imagine what this new and improved version of Maidana trained by Robert Garcia would do to him can you imagine OMG lol it would be murderous.
