And while Maidana took an early lead, Khan appealed to his own followers and the Briton duly finished with a reported 60 percent of the vote.

This is such BS. ESPN poll has Maidana up by a lot. Everyone knows Floyd wants to Khan. This has been his only perspective opponent for the last few months.

Bob Arum created a phony countdown clock that gave Mayweather a deadline to sign for a fight against Pacquaio, knowing that he had already scheduled a fight between Pacquaio and Margarito. Now, Team Mayweather has created a phony fixed poll to make fans and media think that he is truly concerned about making the best fight possible.

The decision on who Mayweather will fight next was made long before this phony poll was created just as the decision to pit Pacquaio against Margarito was made long before Arum's phony countdown clock.

I have said it a dozen times already that there is no way I am buying Mayweather/Khan. They could put Maidana/Broner, Alvarez/Angulo and Garcia/Peterson on the undercard and I still wouldn't purchase it. I have purchased everyone of Mayweather's PPVs, but I will not purchase a fight against a journeyman who is no better than Mayweather's sparring partners.

The reason I used Pacs name was for 1: because Pacs always compared to Floyd and a lot think he's better and 2: the double standard... Floyd is labeled a cherry picker by a lot, PAC gets praised for his opponents by a lot... You would have to go all the way back to the Judah fight (2006) where Floyd fought someone after they had lost... Since 2006 PAC as about 10 fights where his opponent was coming off of a loss... Floyd gets crucified for fighting Hatton, Delahoya, and Mosley later in their careers yet PAC gets praised for fighting them AFTER Mayweather... When Floyd fought them they were all ranked high and coming off of good wins (including Cotto)... PAC fought all of them after losses and drained a couple of them... You guys can label Floyd as a cherry picker (he does pick weak fights sometimes) but be consistent... PAC can pick cherries with the beat of them...

I also think Maidana would be the easier fight... He's a slow, flat footed, low skilled, brawler, who comes straight forward with no movement... Floyd would counter an pot shot this guy all night to an easy decision... At least Khan has quick hands with skills... Floyd beats him easy too but at least it a different style... The only reason fans want Maidana is because of what he did to Broner... Broner is no Floyd... Deep down inside they know Maidana has no chance either... I'm not high on either guy... I wish Manny would become a free agent to see if the fight could get made... I think Floyd would counter PAC with his long reach all night to a UD... PAC is a lot smaller than Floyd and one of the things mayweather does very well is fight from the outside... On top of that, Floyd is definitely the A side now which means he'll most likely decide the ringsize and glove size... Bigger gloves reduces Pacs power and increases Floyd's defense... Bigger ring helps Floyd stick and move and effects Pacs chances of smothering him...
You sound like a ****** with your PAC comment. First, the post has absolutely nothing to do with Pac and secondly, if you are going to make a statement, at least get your facts right. Contrary to your point, Floyd has fought fighters coming off losses. It is part of boxing then, now and in the future. Does the name Jose Luis Castillo losing to Floyd ring a bell, or Chop chop losing to Judah or Judah losing to Baldomir. Just 'cos it hasn't happened as of late doesn't mean it didn't happen. See people like you is what is wrong with boxing today and your sort of statement is what produces the primadonna charaters/attitudes we see in boxing today where fighters will rather take soft touches rather than take on good competition. Losing is nothing new, it is how you come back from the loss that matters. Secondly you all buying into the Floyd propaganda, just shaking my head. Khan was already penciled in a few weeks after Floyd beat Canelo. His father had confirmed it back then and Showtime huncho was on record as well attributing it largely to Khans following. The surprise was the backlash that suddenly came about when it started becoming apparent to the public that Khan was getting the fight. The poll is just a save face by Junior. You already know Maidana is never going to win any poll. All you have to do is look at their presence in social media and Khan more than triples Maidana easily so at the end of the day, Khan was going to carry any poll. Common folks, don't allow yourself to be easily manipulated. Personally I will like to see Maidana get the fight simply because he is more deserving but with Khan getting, I can't get mad at a man who is trying to get a payday but all the underlying bs is what I cannot accept. So Junior, just come out already and announce the fight with Khan.

And yet he is the ATG? With all the things you said about him, you are right. He cherry picks, fight opponents that doesn't pose a great risk, belt holder that he see's not a threat to him. Will decide IF ever he fights Manny on the size of the ring, glove size, he'll wear head gear while Manny ain't. Yeah I get it. Your homeboy really the BEST there is. SMDH.

You know damn well that *** won't call Manny, unless he have a fight coming up then he'll say he did call Manny with unheard of demands that Manny could not realistically accept. But we'll see, hopefully he calls Manny and try to bluff him and get what he wish for.

Seems like Boxing has become more of a soap opera than the theater of the unexpected. No stone unturned in this computer driven social media world. And who would have ever thought Boxing would have something in common with "As the world Turns" or "Day's of our Lives".

                      2. You aren't him so you can't say his motivation. Nobody else here was mentioning pacquaio, the article didn't include pacquiao..what he said had no point at all with the article...so him mentioning him was flat out pointless and ******.

                      3. You've seen my post? Glad you have if you really have you'd notice I don't bad mouth any boxer on earth..if that makes me a fan of someone that would make me a fan of every boxer by that logic.

                      4. Khan is a pure boxer, he's a boxer who built his career on amateur
background boxing meaning his focus was on the intangibles for a lot longer than most boxers Floyd has faced recently. Maidana as much as I like to watch him fight is a brawler with unorthodox way of setting up his punches..he's an
improved version of Guerrero and again as much as I like Maidana he's going
to walk into rights and jabs all night. Khan may be chinny but he knows how
to set up his punches. Floyd's hardest fights have been against boxers with
speed not brawlers so yeah if i'm going to spend $70 on a fight it better not be
to watch a glorified sparring session.

                      5. I find it hilarious you want to sit there like a tool and give me pacquaio's resume..but you had no problem with Ortiz' and Guerrero's fight with Floyd based off beating the average Berto..whoppity doo...some win to be coming off from. You don't criticize Floyd fighting Marquez coming up two weight divisions. You don't bash Floyd for vacating his titles and going into retirement rather
than face the mawlers at 147 who all were destroying each other for a bout
against him. I'm a floyd fan but I can see the good and the
                      bad..unfortunately you can't.
Man, take it easy on the guy, he don't mean that lol
