What is interesting is how many boxingscene vets, guys that like and know the sport, wanted Maidana rather than khan.

Compare that to the trolls and losers that suggest khan would’ve won.

Amir Khan may have moved a step closer to securing a fight with Floyd Mayweather following the results of a recent poll set by the pound-for-pound king.

Mayweather wanted his Twitter fans to help him decide whether to fight Khan or Marcos Maidana in his next fight this spring.

And while Maidana took an early lead, Khan appealed to his own followers and the Briton duly finished with a reported 60 percent of the vote.
