Comments Thread For: Chisora: I'll Use Johnson To Send Tyson Fury a Message!

Dereck Chisora aims to make quick work of Kevin Johnson this Saturday (15th September) at the Copper Box Arena to send a warning to rival Tyson Fury .

Chisora defends his WBO/WBA International Heavyweight titles against the tough American, who took big-punching Fury the distance in December 2012, and knows he needs an impressive showing to keep on track for his summer grudge match with the Manchester traveller.

Chisora will put the pressure on Johnson like no other. Johnson is in for a tough ass-whooping. Johnson=low workrate low power.
Thats not some whos going to beat a working machine like Chisora.

If Johnson stays on the jab, he does have a very good one, he could cause Chisora some problems.

He hits hard enough to keep Chisora honest, it's just that his inactivity and negative style in big fights doesn't bode well for him.

He has the physical tools to beat Chisora, probably not the mental ones though.

Chisora isn't knocking him out. 12 boring rounds won't impress Fury or anyone.

people forget kingpin went from fighting terry smith & devon vargas to vitali klitschko. he took the fury fight on 8 days notice, he took the hammer fight on a few weeks notice but he is getting 3-4 weeks & maybe he has been in the gym prior to getting the call. this is going the distance & if kingpin throws his right hand he could pull this one out. he will have no chance if he thinks he can win on the road with just a jab... will he be ready or will he go into sparring partner mode? you never know with "safety pin"...
