Bingo, we have a winner. I went through page after page waiting for someone to bring this up. The man welcomes southpaws with open arms.

I don't think anyone is saying that Floyd is afraid of southpaws, just that is a weakness/vulnerability that could be exploited one day. I don't see how u can say a southpaw doesn't bother him,, sure he would win but he has to work harder vs a good southpaw

Much riskier against a solid southpaw not an average flat-footed or slow southpaw unless they have other attributes that dwarf their weaknesses.

When people mention southpaw, they also take into consideration that if Floyd had some trouble with average or inconsistent southpaws then Floyd will have proportionally much more difficulty with an elite southpaw. That is what the real point is from my standpoint and probably others are coming to that conclusion as well. So that southpaw will have other great attributes as well beside being a southpaw.

These guys called him out but Floyd didn't welcome them and some, he ignored altogether : Martinez, Williams, Manny, .... correction to the statements made are that Floyd will cherry pick relatively weaker southpaws with open arms.

Well, Pacman has the best and perfect stance of southpaw that's why Floyd will never fight Pacman. Pacman do the punches from different angles, speed, power etc. Floyd knows Pacman is to dangerous for him.

There's a reason why Al haymons associate (I forget his name) said with absolute certainty that Floyd vs pacquiao will NEVER happen. I wonder if this is why.

I just honestly feel that he's seen just as many problems with orthodox fighters.

Sometimes, he'll duck low under it which is a common defensive tactic. All I'm saying is as great as Floyd is at judging distance, he'll have problems against southpaws who understand foot placement and won't hesitate to shoot their straight left hand when they have the angle. Other than that, he knows how to get off first and find the angle to land his own straight right hand.
These bad habits of Floyd can play well on Pacquiao's style. Pac can place himself in a position where he can slip from from someone jab, close the gap using his fast feet and throw punches in many weird angles or straightleft. Floyd's shoulder roll defense won't be much effective against a fast southpaw who can throw fast insane angles.

Pac is very good at timing his opponent punches, slip under it then fire his own. He can't miss his counter to almost everybody that is why they always hesitate to throw knowing what they get in return.
