Gennady "Triple G" Golovokin fights on HBO and fights on main events while Erislandy Lara fights on Showtime undercards, so if he wants to fight Triple G, he'll have to leave his ground for a sec and challenge the champion on his turf.

GGG has to move up in weight and fight Ward because we all know a fight with Quillin won't happen because he's with Showtime. Quillin isn't ducking GGG. BUT..... GGG is ducking Lara. Who cares if one is fighting on HBO and the other is on Showtime. He's ducking Lara. Where's the logic?

That's a big misconception of Lara/Angulo. Lara was up on 2 of the 3 scorecards and was winning the round of the TKO.

not only that but lara was drained (was restricted to only re hydrate to 164) while angulo bloated all the way up to 175 (well rested and healthy)


lara was drained and still stopped angulo.........the golovkin nut crowd are using the fact that angulo dropped lara but won't mention how lara was drained

Lara was drained & fighting in a damn sandpit and he certainly was not losing to Angulo. Maybe its just me but I seem to recall after both heavy knockdowns Lara getting up and continuing to outbox Angulo.

lara is overrated TBH, he was losing to Angulo and got dropped twice. He is good yeah, but not some god like ppl make him out to be. Angulo dropped him twice and was winning, GGG KO's him easily. And Canelo may even KO him too

Imo Lara dismantles canelo in a wide decision.

Golovkin is promoted by K-2 not by Top Rank. HBO didn't televise GGG's last fight.

Hbo has an exclusive contract with ggg they are not going to let him fight on showtime... You can pretty much think of ggg like anyone with tr, because hbo doesn't want to do business with gb so no fight.
