So how will either fight be spun to us fans?

I talk boxing quite a bit on FB and it amazes me how the most loyal die hard Floyd fans will go their grave defending him. There is no sense of reality for diehard Floyd or PAC fans. I find myself a rational person and I know there is not a lot of options for Floyd at this point. Thurman and Garcia need a little more time, Lara brings no money and there really isn't anybody else besides PAC and Bradley or maybe a rematch with Cotto. But don't try to spin some B.S. On me. I would almost rather have everybody say this is a stay busy fight for Floyd b/c he wants to be active.

Here are some things I have heard from the diehards about Khan. He has speed and Floyd hasn't faced this kind of speed so that should give him a challenge, or he has Virgil Hunter in his corner and it will be interesting to see his strategy against Floyd, or he has the UK behind him. Funny thing about this is when Khan was coming up these same people were saying he was over rated and they were simply saying that b/c Roach was his trainer but now since he is a possible Floyd opponent he offers up an interesting matchup b/c of his speed.

With Maidana I have heard he is a rough lion who has improved tremenously under Garcia. Never mind the fact that he is slow and flat footed and Mayweather will easily cruise to a victory. I am a big fan of Maidana but he has no shot and there is no way you can spin it to me that he does.

Mayweather: It's what the fans wanted, the fans voted for Amir Khan and i'm giving them what they want. Floyd Mayweather is here to please the fans.

Might as well go fight Khan in the UK cause if that poll is legit, Khan won only because of the UK fans

Floyd Mayweather loves to be bummed when Floyd mayweather needs bumming.

i agree with you. i do think maidana is a decent fight simply because hes on a hot streak, has a punchers chance against anyone and as you said the options for floyd are limited being that arum will never let pacquiao or bradley fight floyd.

khan is a bull**** fight, i think floyd gets too much criticism for most of his opponents. people tend to say hes ducking someone until the contract is signed and then it magically turns into a cherry pick. but like ortiz thats not the case here, just plain BS match ups. wouldnt surprise me if khan makes a bigger ass out of himself than ortiz did.

i just want to go on record now that people shouldnt complain after this fight, if you are dumb enough to think its worth paying for thats on you.

What's funny is I have seen Floyd fans discredit guys that could possibly give Floyd a threat like they are doing with GGG and then turn around and give him credit when it is time to fight Floyd. This is a true story, when it looked like Canelo and Floyd could be an option Floyd diehards were saying he had to beat somebody credible first to earn a shot at Floyd and then when he beat Trout most were saying he lost to Trout and then when Floyd signed to fight Canelo then all of a sudden Canelo is a future hall of Famer and he had a great win over Trout. Drives me crazy. PAC fans are crazy too but in a different way.

From what I have seen on this site GGG fans are the same way. They act like Showtime is the Berlin wall when it comes to other fighters but it doesn't exist with Floyd. When in all actuality GGG might be the most protected fighter in boxing right now. Wards ready right now. From what Ive read in the past Froch is ready. But GGG and his fans are OK with his since I can't get Martinez I don't have to fight anybody approach. The guy drops a 1.5 million on HBO and his next fight isn't even televised? That's unheard of.
