I really wanna get excited about Wilder. I consider him almost a local guy because Tuscalusa isn't but about three hours from Nashville. I actually attended his pro debut when Jermain Taylor fought Jeff Lacy here in Nashville. The problem for me is, Wilder doesn't seem much more polished than he was when I watched him in the Olympics. I've seen very lil growth from a technical standpoint. And I think that's gonna bite him in the ass as the climbs the ladder. I think his team has done him a huge disservice matching him the way they have. Because 30 fights deep, he's basically become a guy that depends soley on his speed, athleticism, and power. I can see the speed. I can see the athleticism. Don't know about the power. The further you move his the ladder, the better the chins get. So we'll see what happens.
