Antufurmo would have been a bloody mess and taken a sever beating and would be stopped late, defenseless.

I have been watching boxing a long time and the only fighters IMO who have a shot are Bob Foster, Mike Spinks, Ez Charles, Charlie Burly, SSR, and Archie Moore.

        RJJ was something special.

It would have to be a hof atg caliber fighter,,,, Muhammad saed, and Marvin johnson would also be tough, and much better than anyone Roy ever beat at lhw

But let's be real,, Roy beat a lot of paper champs and washed up fighters at lhw,, he doesn't have one legit win over another great prime lhw or even hof caliber,,

RJJ was still hitting his prime at MW.. I'm sure Hagler would rough him up. At LHW I don't know many names but Ezzard Charles would do his best to not be getting hit with no leaping left hooks.

RJJ was great but while his competition was very good I think he would have had a hard time with Hagler and Monzon at MW (not to mention SRR, Charley Burley, Sam Langford and many others.) I think RJJs speed would take a lot of other good fighters - but maybe not.

Re LH I would think that Ezzard Charles, Sam Langford, Archie Moore, Gene Tunney (as Dempsey was the original Tyson Tunney was the original Muhammad Ali) would beat RJJ. I think that Bob Foster and Michel Spinks would definitely be in a war with RJJ.
