People go into fights with injuries dude, in-fact many big fights one of the guys (often the winner) exposes an injury they worked through [such as Calzaghe-hands, Froch-back, Haye himself...toe] and weighs up the risk/reward. If the reward is high then it makes weighing up going ahead more likely. That notion is just insane. You don't go into one of the biggest fights of your life with a big gash on your eye. Don't be silly.
Especially when you're the money man. Haye did the right thing and postponed the fight, like countless greater fighters have done through history, including Foreman against Ali, and Ali against Liston II.
The idea that David Haye, who brings in millions regardless who he's fighting, should risk his career instead of waiting a couple of months is ridiculous.
I'm not sure why you struggle to accept this logical balance. Simply put many many guys fight with low-medium injuries all the time and it's all about the risk/reward factor.Comment

Iron Manuel Charr is leagues above Fury. That's why.
So? Are you really dense enough to believe what Haye says in public as his true opinion? Come on mate.Oh really? Haye acted and spoke about the fight as though it wouldn't last a round or two. And many lapped it all up like kittens. And since "everyone"knows Fury is just a big man with three feet and no skill/ability, while Haye is some kind of athletic wonder who could leap over Fury in two steps and knock him out with a jab, what possible "life and death" fight was Haye supposed to be entering in? Easy-peazy win right? So what was the problem with a cut? Fury wasn't going to land a glove on him anyway -right?
Are you also one of those guys that believe Haye is a playboy who doens't train hard and ***s around? It's a false image that guys like you eat up so you'll buy his PPV fights.
Oh god.. Are we really arguing whether a heavyweight fighter should enter the ring with a top 6 rated guy with a gash on his eyebrow?
NSB has reached a new low.
So? His worst win was still ten times more exciting than any Wlad win.Comment

What part of "he's not allowed to fight with a gash on his eyebrow by the BBBofC" don't you understand?
Plus, having an open gash on your forehead cannot be compared to having a bad toe or bad hands. Fights get stopped on the basis of cuts! Should Haye be prepared to take a loss for the sake of Tyson Fury, instead of postponing the fight a couple of months?
Anyways, this is the last i'll say on the subject. It is quite simply idiotic.Comment
