Floyd at the very least is good at it. I think it was the 6th round where Cotto had success boxing and moving. Floyd came out in the 7th round and quickly put an end to that ****, reverting Cotto back to the stalker role
just watched rd 7, cotto did not run for a second in the round

the only one that cut off the ring or chased in this rd was cotto

watched rd 6 of cotto floyd

      floyd coming forward, cotto moving
floyd following cotto, not cutting off the ring, floyd plodding forward even and fairly reminscent of pacquiao's tailor made opposition, floyd does not throw when a moving cotto throws, cotto fients, floyd shells up, cotto turns him/circles him, cotto throws, floyd shells up, cotto turns him/circles him

      reminded me of pacquiao-rios
and people seriously think floyd can beat pacquiao walking him down?

The reason Floyd doesn't want the fight is because if he's going to beat Manny convincingly, he will have to take chances he's never taken.

watch 7 again. Pedro specifically tells Cotto before the round now you want to box because of the success Miguel had in the 6th doing it. Floyd begins round 7 with jabbing to let Cotto know you aren't going to come out on top boxing with me.

Cotto tried to feint and box with Floyd in the center, but there was no gain in it. About a minute passes in the round before Cotto accepts his role as the stalker

watch again, Floyd's jabs would cause Cotto to become stationary momentarily, or he clinched when Cotto came in for an assault.

Floyd isn't the grand master at cutting off a ring, but he has better and more tools to catch a moving target than manny

Whenever Mayweather has had to cut off the ring and be the stalker, he has done it exceptionally.

yeah, pretty much agree with this,,,

Its not floyd's style but he can stalk you down if need be, like he did with corrales and judah in the latter rounds

if you look at khan - diaz fight, khan is on his bike and julio diaz wasnt great in cutting off the ring.

if floyd cuts off the ring, i have no doubt that he is gonna knock khan out. especially after reading how people in this thread are saying floyds can cut the ring off exceptionally.

my moneys going on a floyd KO win.
