Originally posted by JOM'SIMHO, fights with either champs Barrios or Mosquera are Championship fights and REAL TEST for PAC and should never be considered as mere tune-ups...
on the otherhand fights with either Larios or Jauregi are tuneups, but definetly should not be taken lightly ...
Good to see ya!

IMHO PAC should challenge for the belts of Barrios or Mosquera? for me these are REAL CHALLENGE that will test PAC as a Jr. Lightweight...

I'll tell you this. If Manny comes in, the same condition he came in for the last fight he had in the Philippines, against Fahsan 3K Battery, then he lost against either of those 2 opponents. I'd say more so against Larios though. Larios always comes in great shape and reminds me so much of Erik Morales in his skills. He can box really nicely, though also go to war with you if he needs to. Of course I think he'd prefer to box Manny than go to war. The opponents I've seen him face were all light hitters so he was safe going into war with them. Then he faced Velasquez in rematch and got knocked down and stopped with a nasty cut caused by punch. Jauregi I think is overrated to take on Manny though would be the safer route in my opinion. You can say he boxed Suico, though ****, Suico DID NOT MOVE! He literally stood in 1 spot while this guy danced around Suico with jabs. Suico looked horrid in that fight. Manny brings a lot of movement which I guess people don't see with all those bombs he's firing. I think he'd take out Jauregi a lot easier than Larios. The only thing I see is the weight issues for Larios which could be a big factor. Either way, not light tune ups at all. Also for the idiots that say you'd like to see him face a real lightweight, how about, you like to see him face another great featherweight? Perhaps at 126lbs? Cause that's his true weight, and just because your bitter about his win over Morales, doesn't mean he can go to 135lbs and get killed for your dumb, ignorant, ****** waterheads.

Manny's natural skills is enough to destroy Larios. He's just naturally fast, and strong. The added gameplan, strategy all of that is just an addition. LOL!!!!! Pac beat Larios on pure speed, power and ability to take punch also stamina.

I've seen a couple of Larios fight(Vazquez 1&2,Hussein,McCullough) and this guy really has good boxing abilities which can trouble Pac, stylewise. He probably has a longer reach than Morales and he's a champion for more than three years.
About Jauregui, I've been impressed by his last two fights especially how he thoroughly outboxed the power punching Randy Suico. He is rated in the top 10 by WBC & WBA and has fought at lightweight before.
Pac would be better off fighting Barrera or Barrios as tuneup opponents than Larios or Jaurequi. Not saying Larios/Jauregui is better than Barrera/Barrios, but stylewise, Pac might be biting off more than he treats Jauregui or Larios as tuneups.
Am I the only Pac fan who thinks this way?
