Not saying Larios/Jauregui is better than Barrera/Barrios, but stylewise, Pac might be biting off more than he treats Jauregui or Larios as tuneups.

Larios or Jauregui are good figthers but, Larios is a superbantam going up and Jauregui is ageing superfeather veteran, it will be over hyping the fight if they will be considered as REAL CHALLENGE, they have a punchers chance against PAC but we all know PAC don't take TUNE-UPS lightly ...

IMHO PAC should challenge for the belts of Barrios or Mosquera? for me these are REAL CHALLENGE that will test PAC as a Jr. Lightweight...

I look at fighters' tune-ups as way beyond dress rehearsals and dry-runs or simulations of things to come. Although I must confess that, sadly, a majority of the tune-ups I have seen come down to being little more than exhibition matches.

So, to my mind the danger that a Larios and a Javier pose can contribute to raising the quality of the Pacquiao tune-up, or at least, compel Manny to rachet up a few notches his preparations; much unlike what he did when he had that tune-up against Yeshmangbetov (whom he faced to test the waters at Featherweight prior to inking a meeting with Barrera). That very nearly became a disaster.

Re: Barrios/Mosquera. Any meeting with either or both should get a billing that goes way above "tune-up" fights. They should be "CHAMPIONSHIPS", befitting the belts of the duo; that despite negative opinions one might have on alphabet organizations, or, one's opinion of the quality of either or both champs. More money shall also accrue to Manny if meetings with Barrios and Mosquera are not treated as "tune-up's".

IMHO, fights with either champs Barrios or Mosquera are Championship fights and REAL TEST for PAC and should never be considered as mere tune-ups...

on the otherhand fights with either Larios or Jauregi are tuneups, but definetly should not be taken lightly ...

Mosquera would be a hell of a dangerous fight for Pac. Barrios is the easier of the two IMO. I applaud manny for taking on a name guy in his "tuneup" bout. I dont think he will overlook either Larrios or Jauregi because he will want to look impressive in front of the home folks

im pretty confident that Pac has now a solid team and they re gonna come prepared for this fight. Theyve learned there lesson from EM-PAc1. Pac actually called up MAB before EM-Pac 3. and larios, who's prolly the sure next opponent is just a natural 122. Pac's worry should only be larios height and extreme" reach advantage. this'll be a good fight to showcase pac's other talents.
