It's really not that close, IMO it's Morales.
I can sit here and just mention Morales' win over Pacquiao and call it a day, but also I take into account how they adjusted to their age and going up in weight and Morales had the superior performances in those categories. He really surprised me when ARGUABLY beat Maidana and Garcia at 140. Arguably, but I don't think so. I thought he lost both fights but it's not like a well-thought out argument can not be made, with reasonable round by round explanations as to why he won the fights.
I think if Morales had retired after beating Pac, and Barrera had retired after losing to Marquez, i'd have said they were equal.
H2H I know Barrera won 2 out of 3 times, but their careers in general, Morales showed me more versatility throughout the age and weight climbing.
