mayweather needs maidana too win the poll, so he can save the khan fight for September. if khan wins the poll, then Floyd will have a difficult time finding an opponent for September. cause maidana and broner will fight in june/july. not leaving enough time for maidana too be ready for September.

He could always defend his 152 pound world title he won from Canelo and won't give up.

Most of the voters think the poll is fixed. Khan was Mayweather's opponent months ago. It's Khan, Khan, Khan and it's always been Khan. So Floyd just KO the loud mouth bragging glass jawed loser and maybe Khan will shut the hell up for a few days.

I think it could be down to the fact that a majority of the harcore fans wanted maidana and so the minute the poll was up they voted but the casuals have heard of kahn and and as the news of the poll spreads maybe they are starting to swing it?

At least in the U.S., Khan is unknown. Maidana is now known for whooping Broner. Khan isn't really known for any win in particular, just an internet hit with the Prescott KO and the Garcia one.

The casual, new boxing fans who know nothing about boxing first voted Maidana up but the educated fans are now starting to vote and Khan is on the rise. It's only the new fans that I know of who are actually supporting Maidana over Khan - anyone who has watched boxing for more than 5 minutes knows that Khan is a much tougher fight for Floyd.

Those supporting Maidana just reveal their extremely low level of boxing knowledge.
