Manny has to submit to hair folicle and random blood tests for at least 18 mnths prior to and after the fight. 2. Manny has to agree to break ties with Arum, pay back all the money Arum helped him make, sign a 30 year agreement with Floyd's promotion group. 3. Manny will recieve 25% of the gate, 5% of the PPV, and must give all of his share to charity so that he can't pay any taxes with it. 4. Manny has to wear 45oz. gloves. 5. Manny has to do a press release admitting he was in the wrong and asking forgiveness for ever turning down the first fight that Floyd offered....etc....Comment

1) Everyone would agree that Manny always wanted the fight but Floyd always got in the way by either accusing Manny or putting roadblocks that at the time were nonsensical.
2) As stated above, Floyd's roadblocks are too much to handle. Imagine, Manny was the top PPV star if you go on an annual basis and close 2nd on a per fight basis so naturally getting NO PPV MONEY would be ridiculous when hearing it and FLOYD KNEW THAT!!!
3) Manny did what was reasonable at the time and he gave in a bit but if he gave in too much then that would be dumb! So that is why your response makes no sense. Who would agree to NO PPV MONEY when it was expected to break records and when Manny definitely deserved his share?
4) Notice that Floyd's roadblocks keep on getting harder and harder to accept? That is why Manny says no!
5) Sorry but Floyd has admitted to not being interested since 2010 but Floyd fans become deaf every time Floyd says it.Comment

Manny said no. Posters like you can only try and justify it. The sad thing is in other threads you never buy these types of excuses from other fighters or posters who like them. Yet when its manny you cosign.
Because Bob announced Manny would be back on APril 12th during the post fight presser after the rios fight. WHen he made the announcement he and manny knew floyd had a open date on May 3rd.
Now, maybe the old manny who had Ariza as S&C coach may have been able to fight in APril and then 3 weeks later, but I doubt he could do it now. Since then, both manny and tim have said they are not interested in fighting floyd now.
Of course you know the above but as a manny fan you'd rather pretend its another reason so it fits your agenda of blaming everything on floyd while absolving manny.
Why the choice between khan and maidana, because khan is a BS opponent that no one wants to see so floyd and GBP need a new opponent and this is a gimmick to make that happen.
I haven't voted but If I did it would be Maidana. Khan doesn't deserve a floyd fight IMO.Comment

why do you highlight no ppv money but leave out that $40 mil is 42% more than Manny ever made with the bulk of the ppv revenue.
I know you like manny, but you should be adult enough to post the whole truth without omitting facts.

i dont need to justify anything. so your reason for floyd not trying to make a fight with pac now is because arum said they are fighting april 12? thats the best you have got?
newsflash, floyd picks who he fights, all he had to do was negotiate with them, make the fight for may and therefore pac would fight in may instead.
did floyd even try no make a fight with pac this may? the answer is no. they have been talking amir khan since last year!!!!!
