i dunno haven't looked at the ins and outs of it but I can only think it's a cynical ploy to up maidanas name and basically up the profile of the maidana broner rematch which can perhaps go as an undercard to floyd kahn and maybe prevent the event from bombing out completely. And kahn v mayweather will bomb unless they can do something with the undercard. Now I may be way off of course cause I haven't been keeping up to date on this one ... but seems like something like that to me.
