You could say why is Ward not going up and fighting Stevenson or Kovalev or coming down to like 164 and meeting Martinez or GGG as well. Floyd's the mega fight and anyone from 140-160 wants to get a piece. Even Hopkins wanted some for Christ sake. He's 6-1 190 lbs walking around most likely.

As a loyal GGG fan I think he would knock Oscar out in 8 rounds or less at either 154 or 160. I think GGG would not be weight drained at 154 or he would not offer to make that weight. He is a hard training fighter and he has been a fighter most of his life. I think he knows what weight he can go down to and still fight well.

Floyd had a tough fight against a 34 year old and broken down Oscar who was destroyed about a year later by Manny- GGG is neither of those so he doesn't deserve the fight.

Floyd wouldnt figh the lineal champ martinez at 154 (hell they could fight at 155 for the title) and you think hes going to fight a relative "nobody" with nothing to offer? I love GGG but this is silly. "Look at his amateur record". >__>... So he was at some point a super middle (remember people 168 is the limit you're not required to weigh 168 on the dot so long as youre no over)... But Ward? "No why dont ward move up!".

People seriously want p4p number 1 and 2 to accomodate him. This type of behavior is getting above some of the Floyd-Pac delusional fans. If GGG wasnt such a bad ass and I didnt feel he's the goods I'd be embarrassed to be his fan.

Obviously because De La Hoya was Floyd's speedpass into the big time. That's the fight that propelled him to "stardom." People do things for incentive.

GGG wants to fight Floyd because of the money; the same way Floyd moved to fight Oscar at 154 because he brought the money. That's why Sergio was begging to fight Floyd & Manny because nobody at 160 brought any money to the table which is why Cotto is raping him at the bargaining table. GGG brings 6 figures to the table Floyd brings 8 it's really that simple.
