    Just rewatched "The One" card

A few notes ..I had Matthysse up 4-3 before the eye was shut in Round 8. That changed everything in that fight.

Canelo should have kept doubling up to the body, that was nulifying Mayweathers offense. He kept shying away from that. And he looked terribly gassed after 4 rounds.

Eye was shut a round earlier iirc. I had Matthysse up 4-2 but I could see 5-1.

Canelo has always been gassy, but you're right, his body work was his best work.

Can't front, Lucas was up before the eye closed but it closed and he lost the fight. Canelo, he's a bozo. 23 yrs old and dead tired after 4 rds. Cotto made his mark after rd 4 when he fought Floyd and he was 33 yrs old (I think) at the time. With a shaky gas tank himself in the opinions of a lot of ppl.

Matthysse had all the momentum going his way from the previous round or two before the eye incident. After that Garcia started tagging him with the left hook consistently and his combination punching just froze matthysse up.

Canelo/ Mayweather fight was actually entertaining. I didn't really remember the first time watching it because I was pretty much drunk by the time the fight started. I thought Canelo started showing signs of fatigue at around 8th round when he tried to be more aggressive.

Matty was doing well until Garcia closed his eye but that is boxing who knows maybe things go differently in a rematch best thing Matty can do now is getting on tv and back to laying guys out.

a matthysse rematch is acceptable over ****ing maurecio herrera

the fight was good, competitive, and definitely worthy of a rematch when compared to the other rematches we've been getting the last few years

Gasnelo did exactly what he was supposed to after the private meeting from Al.

Watched the Lucas vs Danny fight again before the Super Bowl fight night from the arena I had Lucas up 4-2 going into the 7th watching it on TV I had it tied 3-3. Having it 5-1 Lucas is very CJ Rossish. Danny closed the eye with a punch so those sobb stories about the closeing changed the result and excuse is bull**** Danny made that happen. I give Canelo more credit for the early rds than I did before instead of 12-0 Floyd Canelo might have squeezed 1 or 2 rds.

You had it 4-2, yet you think 5-1 is CJ Ross-ish? that's only one more round, and Danny only won one round clearly until that point.

Like you I had it 3-3 on the night also, and 4-2 on replay when you see all Garcia's blocked shots but the other round I gave to Danny was close and could easily have gone the other way so it's not hard to see 5-1 at all.

He was clearly losing the fight though, that much is clear. He won fair and square in the end but not without a good helping of fortune.
