Mayweather official voting site up- Khan or Maidana

I'd say ESPN en español has almost 0% of the Argentinian sports web audience, which is monopolized by local websites. And I don't think someone has campaigned to drive votes to that site. As for Mayweather Promotions, it is in itself a website written in English, so the language barrier can't be avoided that way. The poll might be meaningful pointing to the American and British public. Argentinians are simply out of the picture.
What are the main Argentinian boxing sites? (I'm asking out of general interest as a fan, not because of the vote)Comment

Let's all keep in mind Khan is no Hatton, and doesn't have nearly the support he did when he fought Floyd. So anyone excepting huge numbers in the UK in the middle of the night are kidding themselves IT well sell, but it will generate a fraction of the revenue it will in the States.Comment

The biggest sports websites are the main newspapers' sports sections: Clarín and La Nación. No big boxing website.Comment

It is true this would be most likely a ppv fight in England, however it will not cost nearly as much as the $70 American one, nor will it generate anything close to the American buys.

I dont see Floyd-Maidana or Floyd-Khan doing particularly well on PPV in the US. If I was being neutral, neither are great fights on paper.
From what I read Hatton-Mayweather did around 1.2 million buys in UK and 920,000 in the US.Comment

That's assuming Floyd actually follows the poll. Who knows what he does, he never directly said he would fight whoever won the poll. He certainly implied it, but never directly said it.
After everything Floyd has done in the past nothing would shock me. If he wants to fight Maidana he will, and he will spin it his way. However, this poll was probably just made to justify the Khan pick, because anyone with common sense knew Khan was gonna run away with this poll eventually.
Who should I fight next? Go to http://MayweatherPromotions.com/ and vote. I'm going to let the fans decide.Comment

Out of everything Floyd has done would anyone be shocked at him spinning his way out of fighting Khan.

It's a safety net for them tho, I'd say 200-300k UK PPV buys would be most welcome.

I think they could sell Maidana more though. The Broner win was big for him here.

That is him implying it. He never said directly he will fight the winner of that poll. He most likely will fight the winner, but he never gave a direct quoate saying it though.
