bahahah mayweather just confirmed his joke cherry picking status.

Not only does he cherry pick but he makes up ****** reasons for why he chose a certain person to fight. Even cherry picking the terrible media articles he is posting onto his website including a ****ty biased user written article from ESB about why he shouldn't fight Khan "Khan has been KO'd several times" nice exaggeration. 12,000 votes lol.

Floyd Mayweather asks his fans to vote whether his next fight should be against Amir Khan or Marcos Maidana.

He's still 1,000 behind, that's not a small gap to overturn.
i'm sure they will evetually put i t up

Khans getting around 10 votes for every 1 maidana vote

so the swing is with Khan, he should be a % or 2 down tomorrow or maybe up

46%, he was on about 39/40 last night.

Think it's fair to say maidana won't extend his lead, it's just a matter of whether he can hold out. I doubt it though. By Friday AK will prob be ahead and it will grow.

Khan needs to get some of his famous friends to retweet the link. Hayemaker could make himself useful for once, he has nearly a million followers.

I wonder if he will do something like this for the September fight and put Pacquiao's name there. Ha the website will crash

ESPN's Poll has a lot more votes right now.

                  39% Amir Khan

                  61% Marcos Maidana

                  (Total votes: 55,356)

Yeh you are correct, but in may-guerrero the UK market wasnt even a factor they were praying Mexicans to get behind which didnt work in Robert's case.

Outside the U.S, Argentina's Peso currency isnt as strong as UK's Pound. Also more ppl in UK can afford to spend money on things like PPV so globally speaking Khan is worth more.

Now within the U.S there are more British ppl in U.S than Argentinians. Lets assume they dont care much about Khan but since its Mayweather Khan is the closest thing they can cheer for in that contest and they will get behind.

Now if Maidana's trump card is and may turn out to be to get Hispanics from other communities to get behind and boy that'll be a wipe out.
I think british people in us and argentines in us are negligible factors. What wins the US numbers for Maidana is hispanics yes, but also hes very fight fan friendly, and people have him fresher in their mind at this point.

Thats the most telling to me. 60 40 in a us poll. If thats a representative sample of like say 1 million ppv buys to remain conservative.. thats a whopping projected difference of at least 200 k ppv buys at 70 bucks a pop between maidana and khan.

Would the uk factor make up for that? I dont think so. They arent ravenously supporting him anyway. It seems a bit... lukewarm doesnt it. Aside from a few very vocal supporters. But the numbers speak for themselves. MAIDANA SHOULD NOT BE AHEAD.. OR EVEN COMPETETIVE IN AN INTERNATIONAL POLL.

to the back of the line with Khan.

What about Instagram and fb? Factor those in as well, and AK would be ahead.
