Anyways Tua became increasingly unwilling to let his hands go from that point on, with each fight that passed Tua let his hands go less and less.

He also has no business fighting at 245 or 250...Tua should be in the high 220's.
I don't entirely agree with that, yes he may have slowed down, but he was never gun shy, he just never knew the fundamentals of getting himself into good positions to be able to land the big shots. the weight issue has affected him big time IMO, he's been far too heavy, and that two year lay off hasn't helped either.

Tua vs Briggs is interesting in it's own way, sadly the winner of this fight may be a Top 10 Heavyweight, when in a good division both of these guys should've been out of the picture after the way they've looked. I've never understood why Tua lost his motivation so quickly, but I think Tua was pretty damn solid at one time.

you know whats messed up is that Tua with his powerful punch in either hand and solid chin has never had a world title, and yet John Ruiz the guy he KO'd in 19 seconds has had a world title like 3 or 4 times since his loss to Tua......somehting aint right there.

he's either a complete waste of talent or has been mis managed, he's had his shot too and failed miserably.

if Tua comes to fight and comes in shape he can easily be world champ, there isnt a fighter in the world right now that can take a clean shot from Tua.

if he does fight Briggs i think that he is going to KO Briggs in the late rounds, provided that he doesn't come in like a sack of ****....

Briggs been KO'd before, Tua hasn't, Tua's only been knocked down once and that was when he was tired and off balance against Rahman in their last fight, which was a draw. i think that Rahman should've got the decision but he was kind of lazy in there too, so a draw was fitting of the lackluster fight. Rahmans specialty lackluster............
