Golovkin's people are DELUSIONAL. How is Golovkin the "bigger star" when he doesn't make the kind of MONEY Ward makes?

Seriously? Coming from an Andre Ward fan, GGG is a bigger star because more people actually watch him. Money doesn't make you a star. Being a star can make you money but money doesn't make you a star. Not dis*****g Ward's talent in any way but straight up the guy does not have any sort of star appeal. He can't sell outside of his hometown, Gennady sells out seats better in the US than the American Olympic gold medalist. I believe all 3 of his HBO fights had better ratings than Ward and he's been on TV for slightly over a year. Ward has been on premium cable since 2009. One of the cards he didn't even headline but I was at MSG that night and 80% of people were there that night to see Golovkin. I know people that don't watch boxing that text me to see when GGG is fighting. That is a star. He's not Mayweather,Pacquiao or Cotto but the guy has quite a following. Also Ward is WAY overpaid, he made like 1.3 to fight Dawson, the ratings weren't any good and they still gave him 2 mill to fight Rodriguez (and ridiculously gave Rodriguez 800k, in case you needed further proof that money does make you a star). A week later they spent less than that on the whole Stevenson and Kovalev card combined and they brought in like 500k more viewers. Ward is by no means a star, Golovkin is the "bigger star"

Sad but true.... Cause I think Ward is better... Ward doesn't even sellout in Oakland.... If GGG fights someone with a pulse in MSG his next fight... I may go
