Golovkin couldn't get a promoter to bring him stateside and teamed up with K2 who brought them stateside and got him a deal with HBO
What could GBP do other than give him Quillin? After that he's stuck with showtime and their limited crop.
Top Rank has no MW's to offer and apparently Arum is open to having Chavez fight Golovkin.
K2 has beef with neither and could deal with either. How is it K2's fault for not getting anybody in there with him?Comment

He does have options though. As for middleweight it's a bad bad division. He should've cleared it out as quick as he could and move on. Plenty and I mean plenty of guys with names at 168 will fight him. I made the comment yesterday and I'll ask you it. Do you see anyone at middleweights top 5, being a top 5 super middleweight fighter?Golovkin couldn't get a promoter to bring him stateside and teamed up with K2 who brought them stateside and got him a deal with HBO

Edit: I agree K2 is probably the best choice, but overall they haven't gotten him much, not saying anyone else could've done better. I agree with that, just that something has to happen.Last edited by Grimgash; 02-04-2014, 07:17 PM.Comment

There were Middleweight and Light Heavyweight.
Top 5 Super Middleweights are Light Heavyweights.Comment

Dude starts camp at 167, if he doesn't want to move up straight away then fine.He does have options though. As for middleweight it's a bad bad division. How is he supposed to clear it out as quick as he can, dude wasn't on most people's radar until mid 2012. We thought 2013 was the year:
Quillin no
Sergio gone for a year
Geale/Barker were both looking to Sturm after
Also depends on who you have in your top 5 ratings for 168
Looking at the ring, I'd take him in 3 of them for sureComment
