Lol Gold medal and didn't even break a sweat the last guy made him think for about a round, and then he was weighed, measured, and was found wanting.

Real pleasure to watch. It's funny to hear the announcers drool over Rigo, too. lol And as for the myth that Cuban amateurs are simply men beating up on boys, Guillermo was only 23 when he won that second gold medal.

Wouldn't it be 24? Its just I recall from watching one of his amateur fights that he won his first gold medal on his 20th birthday. A nice present to himself lol

I'm not sure where that ridiculous statement came from either. I've heard it a few times in particular about Felix Savon who is actually more or less around the same age as most of the notable names he fought.
Maybe its because most of the names who went onto to challenge or capture world titles in the pros was a couple of years younger but it doesn't away the fact he beat many outstanding amateurs his own age or older. If it was 8-10 years difference I could understand but we're talking a couple of years here.

Maybe he was 24. I'm just going by what one of the announcers said in that first fight.

                  So what!!!

Who cares...as of 2014, the only channel this guy should be boxing on is Nickelodeon...right after an episode of Sponge Bob.

He can kill the ratings on that network, instead of being a channel changer on a network I pay my hard earn dollars for.

Hopefully Arum releases him and he can return home to fight in front of Fidel, El Presidente for Life!!!!

He looks exactly like he does now incredibly dominant, and even bored sometimes . Instead of going for 4 gold medals he chose to be a pro boxer, and i am so glad he did. One of the most successful amateur ever turning pro becoming a p4p in 12 fights sounds like some kind of movie lol
