He's probably spent so much money in these appeals that by the time he's done he's gonna need a 50% purse to make the money up.

Love how Groves dots the i's and crosses the t's but he won't win this one. BBBoC backed Howard Foster's judgement.

Froch and his people offered Groves a 7 figure deal for a rematch and he turned it down. so Froch was willing to fight him again, regardless of the public narrative.

Groves not satisfied wanted to make a public show get the IBF involved to force the issue and possibly get a better deal. well his people must not have read the IBF rules and his cut was even worse.

Groves just got too greedy and thought he could out maneuver Froch but all of his antics just exposed him for the whining little brat we all thought he was.
          he squandered a golden opportunity.

Groves hopes to have the result overturned and changed to a No-Contest due to what Team Groves perceive to be a premature stoppage decision by referee Howard Foster, who jumped in at 1:33 of the ninth. The stoppage sent the crowd at Manchester's Phones 4U Arena into a frenzy, many strongly disagreed with it, and has been British boxing's main talking point ever since.

Groves, 19-1 (15), has submitted his appeal, which will be heard on the 12th of February. "We have received correspondence regarding the stoppage and will consider the matter on February 12th," said Robert Smith, the Board's General Secretary, when speaking to BoxingScene earlier today.

"We get these type of requests on a regular basis. We'll consider the solicitor's correspondence and evidence." [Click Here To Read More]
Groves is such a perfid and stubborn Brit!!!
Groves knows that Froch doesn't like him... Groves wants to make Froch nervous... He already succeeded the last time...

not really cuz he still gets his rematch, its up to froch to decide if he want to duck and run like a toddler or fight like a man

                groves gets his shot regardless

I doubt he'll take the 15% cut and I doubt the IBF reverses it's ruling. Froch vs Chavez jr would be a bigger fight and a bigger cut for the IBF in sanctioning fees.

So in the end Groves will refuse to fight Froch for 15% and probably accuse the IBF of corruption, protecting Froch and all that.

if he wanted to fight Froch so badly he should have taken the original 7 figures offered but instead he got greedy.

I'm starting to think Groves will reject this fight now too.the IBF won't change their stance,as neither will the British boxing board of control.

I have my doubts Froch is in talks with Chavez though.I think we're more likely to see Kessler 3.Mikkel has unfinished business with fleabag Froch, maybe with fairer officiating and judges with a keener eye justice will served properly should they rematch again.
