Another 3rd round stoppage for Golovkin
Golovkin vs Andy Lee already on BoxRec......

Andy Lee's jab might keep Golovkin off for a round or two. Still, I can't see the fighter who got broken down and knocked out by Chavez beating Golovkin. Lee had better hope his power gets Golovkin's respect (it probably won't). So with the way things are looking, starting with Golovkin's first appearance on HBO, his opponents will have been: Proksa, Rosado, Ishida, Macklin, Stevens, Adama, Lee, and Kirkland. Three 154 lbers, one top 10 160 lber, two borderline top 10 160 lbers, and two low level fighters.Comment

There was a video of an interview with the European middleweights all seated at a table. It had Macklin, Murray, Barker and Lee. They were discussing match ups amongst themselves, their fights with Sergio and their thoughts on Golovkin. Most of them are convinced they're the top guy, anyway...I thought it'd be funny if Golovkin got to KO each one of them and if Lee gets the GGG fight, it looks like he'd be half way to completing that prophecy of mine.Comment

It was anticipated that Kirkland was for April.... but like we all found out today, Geale was the first choice.
IMO, they had their name mentioned by Chavez Jr....so Kirkland probably third in line for the summer. They're gonna pursue that hard and give Arum a couple of optionsComment

Ward is still with Goosen, they said he's back in May, but Arum won't let him fight Jr. unless Ward fights for him.
Of the three, Ward and Golovkin add future incentives, Ward giving the most if he signs with Top Rank.
Arum could grab and option or two from Golovkin and have him face Korobov...and maybe Gilberto Ramirez. Spitballing because Arum doesn't have many MW's or SMWs.
Then he could always fight Bika, but Arum said PPV and no way that's a PPV.
And Arum said a July PPV, so if there's no more UFC on a fall date, maybe GealeComment
