I like how Rigo's supporter keep praising Hyde and shytting on Bob, Bob didn't make Rigo sign the Agbeko fight, that was Hyde's fault and the sad part is, he wrote a letter and told everyone that Rigo's team didn't want that fight, and he still let him sign, but some how that falls on the promoter?

He got the headline fight on HBO, place was full, then people left and some stop watching, what more can a promoter do?

Best article I have read about rigondeaux so far. Its unfortunate to think talent and technique doesn't suffice the substance to bring you to stardom.

He learned he is not as gifted at attracting fans as he is at boxing.

Influence is built overtime, but until that day he needs to defer to TR and HBO judgment. He is no Johny fontane whose godfather could make bob arum an offer he can't refuse.

Bob arum is the only lifeline. How did rigondeaux get his championship fights even after only few fights if not for arum?
