Bad idea, Floyd. The "fans" are ****** enough to believe Maidana is actually a better choice than Khan. They fail to see that Maidana would be exactly the kind of flavor of the month opponent Ortiz, Guerrero and Canelo were.

Seriously, does anyone here actually believe Maidana would have more than a puncher's chance against Floyd? And a puncher's chance is not much of a chance against the best defensive fighter in the world, who also happens to have a pretty good chin.

Mayweather of course beats both of these guy's but Maidana has done enough to earn a shot, where apart from looking terrible, be knocked out and having never fought at the weight Khan has done NOTHING!!!
It MUST be Maidana , if Khan wants a shot have him at lease fight a welterweight contender and of course win...That's what fans want to see!!
A Mayweather v Khan fight with this as a minimum is the only way that this match up could make sense.
Many times I hear Khan and his supporters whining on about he will fight anyone ,trace this guy from Presscot through and you will see apart from a couple of fights this Khan fellow has been so carefully matched that avoiding Alexander to make this deal is the the norm for these people and may well come back to haunt him!!
Although I side with the Khan people on this and think like them that Alexander would have been too much for Khan.
