              why would he fear provodnikov when he's asking for the winner of Bradley/pac?..I think the winner of that fight is a much tougher fight than provodnikov and not only that he'd be fighting for the belt at 147 which is what he wants

                      A stepping stone is what? On the way up. JMM just admitted that he knows Prov will beat him. Therefore he will not fight this man. Hence the reason he (JMM) will NOT be a stepping stone.

                          Similar instance occurred with Bradley. Ducked khan to get PAC which was smart for him but he was still scared of possibly losing. Marquez will get his ass beat by Provo. He doesn't wanna risk getting beat.
