I see Gamboa as a guy that needs real competitionfor him to be serious and perform like he's capable of. Garcia looks like a guy that'll have trouble dealing with adversity when stepping up in competition. This could end up being a very boring fight since neither guy ever wants to press the action.

I think this fight is tough to call. But I've been hearing "Gamboa is a KO waiting to happen" for years. I'm not sure if I'm yet willing to bet on an outright Gamboa victory, but I'm certainly willing to bet Yuri sees the final bell. When the time comes, will you be willing to bet on this?Comment

I agree about Gamboa. He seems to be the kind of guy that really only gets up for a serious challenge. But I somewhat disagree about Garcia. I used to see him the same way you do. The Salido fight changed that. I thought Salido would impose his will on Mikey and, once taking him deep, grind down the younger fighter. I was wrong. Of course, Garcia hammered Orlando from the start, so there's still the possibility Mikey might crumble late against a top adversary.I see Gamboa as a guy that needs real competitionfor him to be serious and perform like he's capable of.
