At least he's being. To think the guy is still in his 20s it quite sad but he never had the mind and heart for this game. He can still draw though so might as well get some easy wins under his belt and then go for one last big pay day.

I told his sister that if he wants to continue he should fight about 5 or more Friday night fight bouts or untelivized bouts against risk free opposition the same way Chris Arreola did before coming back to a big network.

I really feel for him, but he should retire.
He should retire and check himself to a mental institution. Dude makes the dumb a$$ egotistical statements like claiming he whooped Marco's and taking away credit from his sister by claiming he was the one who raised himself and his brother. Dude is pathetic. Glad he got knocked the F out. Won't be surprised if he later claims he whooped Luis too.

that sounds like a good plan tell her to remind him that no matter what happened people will always want him to overcome his downfall he had his jaw broken was recently knocked out after a long lay off use that as FIRE if he comes back and works his way up there can be a damm movie made about him in the future

I wonder who's downfall has been more dramatic Juanma Lopez or Ortiz. Hard to tell they both dropped pretty far pretty fast.

Ortiz is a glaring example of how important a strong mindset is. It's interesting to see how strong his ego can be while he severely lacks confidence. People saying he should go back to taking easy fights are wrong IMO... He shouldn't be fighting anybody at all until he gets his head together boxing isn't safe and when his head is isn't together even a low ranked fighter with a lot of losses could do some serious damage.

Juanma went shot really fast. Vic is not physically show, he was a quitter from the beginning, with only only 1 decent win.

I hope you let Ortiz know you were going to put him on blast like this, otherwise that's pretty messed up IMO.

I think this kid should hang it up!! He clearly does not possess the kind of heart for the fight game he is not willing to die in that ring until you have that mind set you will always run into a guy who does have that mindset and if your evenly matched you will not win when its time to dig deeeeeep.

If he wants to keep fighting he needs to work on defense he leaves him self open a lot.
