Well I'll be damned! That's a first from a Hopkins fan. Props for that!

Check their resumes, it's ridicolous to compare them, Lewis is a class higher.

there you go sporto, some basic boxing knowledge.
That resume doesn't hold up today at all. Especially considering half of that list were natural Light Heavyweights.

It'd be like listing some of Ali's best wins as Moore and Foster. Louis is the most overrated fighter of all time. He is often listed in the top 5 all time an top 1-2 at heavyweight.

Jack Dempsey is another one who should be nowhere near a top 10 list and generally is. I actually think Ezzard Charles and Louis prime for prime Charles would have won, but it's not fair to say that so I rate Charles lower as a heavy.

Louis is an important figure in the sport. A historical sports athlete for sure. He did beat pretty much everyone in front of him and he was champ for 10+ years so he has to be in the top 5 for that reason. Head to head he is not a top 5 heavyweight though. I would pick Foreman, Ali, Tyson, Lewis, post Brewster Wlad, Vitali, Lewis, Bowe, Holyfield, Holmes, Fraizer, all to beat him.

Lennox was coming on and landing huge punches. All of those cuts on Vitali's mangled face were from punches. Lewis was exhausted though so it is hard to predict what would have happened after. If any fight needed two more rounds it was that one.

I consider Vitali one of the best heavyweights ever so that was an impressive win to go out on either way. Take away the fight where his shoulder was badly injured and he has rarely lost rounds let alone a fight.

Is this debated? Lewis has a win greater than any Kbros' wins combined and they are considered ATG

And that's why top ten heavies ranked H2H usually suck, everyone just goes by heights and weights and ignores actual skill and technique (which strangely comes into play in boxing. Who woulda thought?)

Hell yeah I agree with this statement. I remember saying that Lewis' resume was better than both the Klits, and getting attacked by a few Klit nut gobblers. I can't take people like them seriously.

First off, when the blood started to flow, directly before that a punch landed and then Vitali and Lennox's head came together. The punch may have started it but it's not fair to say that all of the cuts came directly from punches.

Secondly, Lennox landed a couple of good uppercuts in the last two rounds.
That certainly didn't mean he won those rounds or was going to knock Vitali out because he landed a punch or two.

Lastly, Lennox was 6 lbs over weight. That's one day of laying off eating as much for a guy that size. The whole "Lennox was old and fat" argument is garbage. Vitali retired at 42 and Wlad is going on 38 now. Lennox left because he knew he wasn't beating Vitali outside of a lucky cut and got out when the getting was still food. Good for him, bad for boxing.
