And thus why compubox is useless. They're punch guessers, not punch counters.

jeez how many times can people watch a fighter look great against garbage competition only to look mediocre in their first step up before they realize
its premature to dub dudes like this a world killer just yet.

I can't do better and it's why they should stop doing it all together as if it means anything.

This by all means does not prove Golovkin is super hittable, but compubox is useless.

He landed 4 jabs in round 5
Did you count how many straight rights GGG threw -- after that one which put Adama down in the 1st?

            Or how many body shots?

no kidding. By some of the comments I've seen on here you would think he absorbed over a hundred punches and was a bloody mess...

                Rodriguez ducked him.

So Adama landed 53 punches rather than 44 in the fight? You are right Golovkin's defence is terrible...

In round two i'd say that Adama only landed maybe one or two fairly flush jabs and one pretty flush right hand. Adama may have landed a number of other jabs, perhaps as many as you counted but they were not high quality jabs.

As opposed to you because you are a real punch counter?

Compubox is indeed largely useless but not primarily because they are error prone in their counting of landed punches but rather because they do not distinguish between the quality of landed punches. Adama landed very little of quality throughout. Golovkin has a good or even a very good defence, particularly for a fighter moving forward fighting aggressively. If the criticism is that he can be hit then yes but what else is new? Everyone gets hit.

Adama landed 2 or 3 good punches all fight. Golovkin has better then average defense, especially for a guy who chases you down

GGG looked like he didn't give a *** that fight.
He better act like it when I drive up in April
