I like how humble he seems but the amount of attention/hype he's getting isn't good. I don't like the look of him, he's blasting out opponents but he's still so defensively weak and that chin looks crackable

If they're questioning the sparring he's getting, that's not good either. He should be flying all around the world to spar the best available, that is much better than fighting every 3/4 weeks against area title opposition tbh. I've never been big on Joshua and haven't seen anything so far that changes my mind.

He looks terrific so far, but I'm worried he might have stamina problems in a 10/12 round fight. Those huge muscles of his must burn a lot of energy. And I've never seen a top class heavy with that kind of build who was as big as AJ.
The biggest ripped heavyweight I've seen so far was Frank Bruno. Stamina was always a problem for "Big Frank" and Joshua is 2 stone heavier than him already, and still filling out.
For big guys, I think Tyson and Hughie Fury's type of physique is better. They don't look as good as AJ, but this is boxing, not Mr Universe.

Wilders been a pro for 5 years. Joshua more like 5 months

I don't care about amateurs, Audley harrison was an ATG amateur and he sucks ass as a pro

I don't know why but i just don't see Joshua faring too well once he has gone through the bum bashing phase and steps up.

He has time and has a much better future than Wilder, thats for sure. Wilder will be history soon but Joshua will easily beat someone like Fury in 2015 already.

Agreed. He is less ripped than Vlad, and I think that's why he didn't need to worry so much about pacing himself in his fights. He is naturally a big, rugged guy, not carrying any superfluous weight at all. Pulev is another like that.

Vlad is almost as ripped as Joshua, and heavier too. But he doesn't have that bulky "bodybuilder" look that AJ has, with the bulging pecs and biceps. Vlad built muscle in his core and legs, so it carries him around, rather than the other way about, if I can put it that way.

Like I said, I've never seen a top class heavyweight who was 17 stone plus and looked like a bodybuilder. Maybe Joshua will be the first. We'll see.

People forget that Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are the same age. If they fought now, Joshua wouldn't have a hope of beating Fury. Things may be different in 2015, but we'll have to wait and see about that.
