I didn't know you were a big Corrales fan, Jabs. You're one of the most knowledgeable cats around, so that says a lot for my boy, Chico.
Name your current favorite fighter, ONLY ONE PLEASE!

I love the way he punches. Not just because of the power, but because of the shortness of his shots, & the way he puts them together.
I became a huge fan the night he beat Garcia.Comment

Couldn't have put it better, myself. I cannot ****ing wait for March 4th. The neigh-sayers are soon gonna understand what we've been saying all along. Jeff Lacy is gonna be a force to be wreckoned with at whatever weight-class he fights in. Believe that...Comment

Originally posted by DIEGO DA HITMANYeah, he is a very entertaining guy, and he doesn't back down from anyone. He may not always win, but you know he's gonna bring it. The Garcia fight is around the time that I really started liking him, too, but the three fights leading up to the Mayweather fight were the ones that solidified his spot as my favorite fighter. He stopped Gainer, Juuko, and Manfredy in very impressive fashion. There's no shame in losing to Floyd Mayweather or Jose Luis Castillo, and I legitimately think that he was on the comeback trail against Casamayor in their first bout, but that was one of the nastiest cuts I've ever seen, and the stoppage was necessary. He doesn't get enough credit for his boxing skills, though. He outboxed Casamayor in the rematch, and I think he will beat Castillo again if he takes that approach. I don't know if his pride will allow that, but I'd never count him out of a slugfest either. I hope he stays at Lightweight for a while, because I'd love to see him unify the belts. I think he would beat Diaz and Chavez, and I feel very confident that he could handle anyone coming up from 130. I'd love to see him against Barrera and Morales, as well. I think he would be effective at 140, but I hope he waits a while.
Sure, he always has a puncher's chance.....but Castillo is just too much for him.
But, any time Corrales fights, I'm pumped up for it.Comment
