i just feel that a few fights ago he was more dynamic and engaged. he seems to believe now that a knock out is inevitable (which it may well be against the likes of adama) and therefore isn't as inventive in opening his opponent up. he could be in danger of becoming one dimensional. i mean, i'm not saying this is definitely the case as of yet, it's just something that occurred to me while watching his last two fights. basically, i think he needs to step up the competition now, not just for the sake of his wallet but for the sake of his skills too. you don't learn anything against c level opponents when you're an a level fighter - in fact you may unlearn things. It's quit the opposite, a puncher that understands that he doesn't have to load up. Golovkin is actually doing a lot of damage with arm punches, Donaire on the other hand kept looking for the big shot against Narvaez, Mathebula and Arce. So I don't see see those as concerns, Golovkin knows when and when not to load up.Comment

Yeah, I'd be a happy man if he did that again. I think you're right, he just jabbed at Austin in the first round, then in the second round he decided to go crazy on him for one second and he blew him out with left hooks. I don't remember one right. Austin kinda p*ssed him off I guess before the fight and said he had no balls. lol Somebody hire Ray Austin to coach Leapai! Please! Everybody will thank him.Comment
